Today, unFold published a poem of mine called "X-ray Tourism" (big thanks Jessi and Rose...). If you look closely, you can see right through it...

Nice. This touched on that sense of permanent distraction I feel, something I have to police in company so I don't appear absent and unavailable to others, especially my daughters.

I know what you mean, Ethel. "Permanent distraction" is exactly the way to put it. It's strange how having children can make us realize just how "absent and unavailable" we can become, pulled in so many directions by things we love only to ignore our priorities: the people we love - our children...
